The Camaldolese monks have cultivated from the beginning, in their farm called the Mausolea or Casa delle Vigne, various vines producing – following the ancient monastic rules – different, “pure” and excellent quality wines. From this oenological tradition comes: VINUM AUREUM.
After the maturing and mashing of the grapes, this wine matures in small barrels of precious wood for several years according to the centuries-old Camaldolese tradition of the Holy wine. Unique for its golden yellow color with amber reflections. With notes of dried fruit, it is velvety and harmonious on the palate. It goes well with every dessert. Delicious as a contemplative wine.
